How to Get out of a Glitched Room in LEGO Harry Potter

"Lego Harry Potter" is a retelling of the first four books and movies, except with LEGO-themed aesthetic values. Unfortunately, there are several glitches on the PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and Nintendo Wii versions of the game. A particularly troublesome one occurs when you enter the Dragon Room. The room doesn't have an exit that's readily accessible, so you must perform a work-around to leave it.

Instructions

  Change to Hermoine as your playable character, when you are stuck in the Dragon Room. All three main characters -- Harry, Ron and Hermoine -- are present for the level, so you can switch to any of them.

  Select the "Cat" spell from her spell wheel. This causes Hermoine to shoot a spell that creates a cat, in the direction of her wand.

  Jump off the corner on the top-left. As you jump, activate the spell to have Hermoine shoot the "Cat" spell -- by rapidly tapping the ̶0;release pet̶1; button. If done correctly, she will die from the fall, but a cat will be spawned on a nearby ledge. You may leave the location by walking out the door on top of the ledge -- as the cat.
