Body Test
The first time you use Wii Fit, it will have you perform a series of tests that evaluate your qualities such as your body mass index and balance before assigning a "Wii Fit Age." This number is the game's estimation of your overall fitness and will change as you progress through training.
Training
Wii Fit breaks its training regimen into four main categories. "Aerobics" consists of relatively easy exercises that you sustain for longer and longer periods. "Strength Training" consists of shorter, high-intensity exercises designed to build muscle. "Balance Games" mostly involve holding poses on the board and help develop a sense of balance. "Yoga" leads you through real yoga poses designed to build muscle and correct posture. The game develops a regimen specific to each user based on individual body test results.
Progress Tracking
Wii Fit tracks users' improvements as they continue through training. The game constantly reassesses your assigned "Wii Fit Age" and updates you of any improvement. It also provides a chart for performance in each exercise so that users can compare their current fitness to what it was when they started the training.
Wii Fit Plus
Wii Fit Plus is an expansion for the original Wii Fit. It includes all the features of the original and offers some extras, including an expanded library of "fitness games" similar to those included in the original. It also offers a tool that tracks the number of calories burnt in each workout.
