How to Get Ninja in Mario Sports Mix

"Mario Sports Mix" has several characters that are considered "unlockable." Most of those characters can be accessed, however, by completing the Star Road a certain number of times. Ninja is the first character unlocked using this method. He is skilled at most of the challenges along the Star Road. These challenges include basketball, hockey, volleyball and dodgeball. The competitions take place against random opponents. It's possible to reset these challenges until you find the one that you prefer.

Instructions

  Complete the Star Cup. Go along the side path at the far left to access the Star Road. Defeat the random opponents in the random challenges. "Quit" any challenge you don't like as the game will continue to offer random challenges.

  Play through the Star Road until you have completed a path that looks like a star. Accomplish this by following the path and completing challenges as a new path opens every time a challenge is completed. Once the star pattern has been completed, a large star will appear in the center of the different rainbow paths.
- 3
  Go to the large star to begin the last challenge on the Star Road. This will lead to another random challenge. Complete it to unlock Ninja.
