How to Get the Chest Under the Stairs in the Castle on Epic Mickey

Players must pick up collectible items such as pins, sketches and filmreels in order to gain 100 percent completion in "Disney Epic Mickey." The first collectable item you get in the game is a bronze pin that is in a chest in a room under the stairs in Dark Beauty Castle. You must defeat the game's first boss to access this room. After this boss is defeated, you can access and open the chest.

Instructions

- 1
  Run to your right and go up the stairs as soon as the boss battle against the Mad Doctor's machine begins. Approach the control panel Gus is standing by to speak to Gus. Gus is a small, green, impish-looking character wearing a red jumpsuit.

  Shake the Wii Remote to use your spin move on the control panel. Shake the Wii Remote a second time to use your spin move a second time, destroying the control panel.

  Run to your right and press the "A" button to jump over the two gaps in your way. Approach the second control panel to speak to Gus again.

  Shake the Wii Remote to use your spin move on the control panel. Shake the Wii Remote a second time to use your spin move a second time, destroying the control panel. After destroying the second control panel, the boss is defeated and the secret room under the stairs is revealed.

  Press the "A" button to jump off of the ledge in front of you and onto the ground floor. The secret room under the stairs will be to your right.

  Enter the secret room under the stairs and approach the red chest. Press the "A" button to open the red chest and retrieve your first bronze pin.
