How to Hook Up a Wii to a Magnavox MD310

The Magnavox MRD 310 home theater system provides a number of input ports on the back of the box for various devices, such as the Nintendo Wii video game console. The Wii uses a component audio and video cable you connect to the component ports on the back of the Magnavox MRD 310.

Instructions

    • 1

      Connect the gray end of the component cable to the port near the bottom of the Wii. The Wii end of the cable is quite different from the end intended for your home theater, so you won't get these mixed up.

      Connect the yellow connector in to the yellow video connector on the back of the Magnavox MRD 310.

    • 3

      Connect the red and white audio cables to the matching audio input ports. Connect the Wii to power. Power on your home theater system.
