How to Insert a Texture to SSBB

̶0;Super Smash Brothers Brawl,̶1; also known as ̶0;SSBB̶1; is a Nintendo-based fighting game for the Wii. While the game already has character textures, also known as the character̵7;s clothing, you can change textures in the game with a texture hack. In order to replace the textures, you need to download new textures and the Gecko OS, a program that allows users to hack over the textures in ̶0;Super Smash Brothers Brawl.̶1;

Instructions

  Download the Gecko OS and the ̶0;SSBB̶1; character textures.

  Place the SD card into your computer and create a folder on the root of the card called ̶0;Codes.̶1; Drag and drop the Gecko OS into the ̶0;Codes̶1; folder on the SD card.

  Create a folder on the root of the SD card called ̶0;Private.̶1; Open the ̶0;Private̶1; folder and create another folder called ̶0;Wii.̶1; Open the ̶0;Wii̶1; folder and create another folder called ̶0;App̶1; inside the ̶0;Wii̶1; folder.

  Open the ̶0;App̶1; folder and create another folder called ̶0;RSBE.̶1; Open the ̶0;RSBE̶1; folder and create another folder called ̶0;pf.̶1; Open the ̶0;pf̶1; folder and create another folder called ̶0;fighter.̶1;

  Copy the file of ̶0;SSBB̶1; texture hacks into your ̶0;pf̶1; folder. While the "pf" folder holds the texture hacks, the "fighter" folder inside the "pf" folder will be used by the Wii to store temporary information about the game character's textures while you play "SSBB." Without the "fighter" folder the texture hack will freeze your Wii.

  Remove the SD card from your computer and place it in your Wii. Put ̶0;SSBB̶1; into the Wii and turn it on.

  Select ̶0;SD̶1; card from the menu and choose ̶0;Gecko OS.̶1; Select ̶0;Load̶1; and choose the ̶0;SSBB̶1; game. The texture hacks will load automatically.
