How to Build Custom Stages in Super Smash Bros Brawl

"Super Smash Bros. Brawl" fans who want to express their creativity get the chance to do so with the Stage Builder feature. Stage Builder lets you create custom stages to enjoy with friends, and you can even submit the stage to Nintendo over the Internet. Each day, Nintendo features one custom stage so players around the world can see stages built by other people. The Stage Builder feature is available for use at the beginning of the game and does not need to be unlocked.

Instructions

  Go to the main menu. Select "Vault" and then "Stage Builder." A Settings screen appears.

  Select the desired stage size, background and music, then select "OK." The edit screen appears.

  Click on a shape under Floors. Click one of the available options under Features to change the shape's size or color. Use shapes to make floors, ledges and walls.

  Click on an object under Structures. Structures include items like ladders, trees and buildings. Click the spot on the screen where you want to set the desired structure. If you do not like a change you made, select "Undo."

  Press "Start" to test the stage. If you like the stage, select "OK." Give the stage a name and description, then select "Save."

  Click "SD Card" to store the stage on your memory card. Click "Send" to transfer the stage to a friend. To upload the stage to Nintendo, click "Submit."
