How to Get Grass Seeds & Animals on Harvest Moon: Tree of Tranquility for Wii

The Wii game "Harvest Moon: Tree of Tranquility" lets you play as a small farmer, raising animals and growing crops to make your farm bigger. At the start of the game, you do not have access to animals for your farm, but eventually you can purchase horses, chickens, ducks, silkworms, ostriches, sheep, goats and cows. Of course, you also need to feed your animals by buying them fodder or growing your own.

  Use your hammer as often as possible to level it up to level 3, then use it to smash the boulder blocking the path to Brownie's Ranch. Alternatively, wait until March 28 in the game, when the boulder disappears.

  Build a barn or chicken coop. Cut down trees to make lumber and smash rocks to make stones. You need 10 of each to make a coop and 12 of each to make a barn. When you have the necessary supplies, go to the Carpenter's Shop to buy the buildings.

  Go to Brownie's Ranch, when it becomes available, to purchase animals. You can purchase fodder here as well. You do not need to purchase grass seeds, as grass starts to grow on your farm when you buy your first animal.
