Things You'll Need
Instructions
Connect Wii to the Internet
Open the Wii main menu and select "Wii" from the bottom left corner.
Select "Wii Settings" at the next screen.
Click the right arrow on the next screen and select "Internet" from the list of selections on the second page that appears.
Select "Connection 1 - None" from the next screen. If "None" does not appear, click "Connection 1," then press "Clear Settings."
Click "Wireless Connection" then "Search for an Access Point" from the next screen. Click "OK" at the next screen.
Click on your computer's wireless connection and enter in your security key, if you have one.
Click "OK," then "Save Settings," then "Yes" at the following screens when prompted. Don't worry about the "Wii Support Code" -- as long as your Internet test is successful at the following screen, your Wii is now connected to the Internet.
Get Streaming Video
Navigate to the Wii main menu.
Choose the "Wii Shop Channel" from the list of selections. Click through the User, if prompted.
Click through the Club Nintendo screen, selecting "Link" or "Do Not Link," depending on whether you or not you have a Club Nintendo membership.
Click "Wii Channels" at the Wii Shop, then "Netflix Instant Streaming for Wii," then "Free 0 Wii Points." This downloads Netflix to your computer. When that's done, you should see a code displayed on your TV; jot down the code.
Connect Your Computer
Navigate to netflix.com/Wii on your computer. You may be asked to log in to your Netflix account if you are not already logged in.
Enter the code that appears on your TV into the designated box on your computer, then select "Activate Now."
Go back to your TV and wait for your Netflix account to load. Your Netflix queue appears when the program is loaded to your Wii. Use your Wii remote to navigate through the Netflix menu and select movies to stream.
