Connect your external hard drive to your computer. Connect your card reader to your computer, if you're using an SD card, and then insert your memory card into the reader.
Select the "Open folder to view files" option, when the Windows AutoPlay menu appears, to browse the contents of your storage in a file explorer window.
Download a copy of WiiFlow and the Wii Forwarder app. Drag and drop the Wii Forwarder into the open file explorer window.
Right-click on the WiiFlow app, then select the "Open in new window" option from the context menu that appears. Open the "Apps" folder in the WiiFlow app's file explorer window. Two WiiFlow program folders will be displayed.
Use the "WiiFlow 222" folder if your Wii is soft-modded to cIOS version 222. Use the "WiiFlow 249" folder if your Wii is running version 248 of cIOS. Drag and drop the appropriate program files folder into your storage medium's explorer window.
Disconnect your external hard drive from the computer or remove your SD card from the card reader. Connect your external hard drive to the USB port on your Wii or insert your SD card into the memory card slot on the front of your Wii.
Power on your Wii, then select the "WiiForwarder" app from your home screen. Select the "WiiFlow" option once the WiiForwarder app has loaded.
