Instructions
Close any other open games or applications on your Wii, because they can make streaming video seem slow.
Inspect your Wii. Make sure it is still on and that none of your connections, such as your audio-visual cables. are loose or unplugged. If something is unplugged or got switched off accidentally, plug it back in or turn it back on.
Troubleshoot your Internet connection. Make sure you are still connected to the Internet. If you are, make sure your Internet signal isn't weak. If it is weak, try moving your Wii closer to your router to see if that helps with your playback.
Contact your Internet service provider if your Wii is on and working properly and your Internet connection seems to be the culprit. Tell the customer service representative at your ISP about the problems you are having. He will give you instructions on adjusting your Internet settings for better performance. Some of the fixes he may suggest include restarting your computer, releasing and renewing your IP address and resetting your modem.
