How to Get in Redd's Place in Animal Crossing: City Folks

Redd's Place in "Animal Crossing: City Folks" is different from other installments of "Animal Crossing" in that it is a permanent store instead of a wandering black market. However, unlike the black market, the only way to gain access to Redd's Place (located in the city) is by receiving an invitation from one of your neighbors. Once you have an invitation, you must travel to Redd's Place and pay a membership fee before you are allowed to enter the store. Redd's Place is worth visiting because it occasionally offers deals on items you cannot find anywhere else.

     Walk around town and talk to your neighbors. One of them will mention Redd's Place at random and offer to give you an invitation.

     Travel to the city and head to the westernmost portion. The villagers call this area a "dark alley."

     Go up to the door in the alley and press the A button. Someone behind the door will notice your invitation and allow you into Redd's Place. Redd will automatically begin talking to you when you enter.

     Select "Sign Me Up" when Redd asks if you will pay 3,000 Bells to become a member. You will now have access to all of Redd's wares.
