How to Get a Spider Web in 'Monster Hunter Tri'

"Monster Hunter Tri" is a role-playing game for the Nintendo Wii that allows you to hunt dozens of monsters and collect items in a variety of locales that can be revisited at any time. When completing the game's story, you will often be tasked with finding rare objects, such as spider webs, that make powerful weapons and armor when combined. Spider webs grow in abundance, but they are only located in a few, specific type of areas.

     Travel to a lake in any of the game's wooded areas. Spider webs grow on the surface of all the lakes that are near woods.

     Equip a net onto your character from the Inventory screen. The net is the only way to catch a usable web.

   • 3

     Swipe the net through the water by swiping the Wii Nunchuk from side-to-side. Walk through the lake as you perform the motion, and you will collect spider webs.
