How to Get to the First Bomb Fragment in Metroid Prime 3

Beating Berserker Lord

  Stay out of Berserker Lord's reach while shooting his lit-up shoulder pads. Dodge his attacks and keep attacking them until they fall off.

  Evade his attacks and look for him to shoot purple balls of energy at you. Shoot the energy balls to send them back his way, and you'll hit him in the head with them. When his shoulder pads come back, shoot them off again, then keep reflecting his energy balls back toward Berserker Lord.

  Destroy Berserker Lord's helmet with his own energy balls; his weak head appears. Aiming at the glowing spot on his head, repeatedly shoot him until he's dead.

First Bomb Piece

  Look for four indents in the floor and morph into Samus' Morph Ball state. Enter each hole and do the Boost Ball move to raise the four clamps locking the bomb component into place.

  Walk up to the newly activated wall switch, and press "A." Twist your controller to line up the lines in the wall and unlock the bomb component.

• 6

  Look at the bomb piece and activate your Command Visor. Scan the bomb, and Samus' ship will appear, picking up the bomb piece.
