Metroid Prime 2 Walkthrough: How to Get the GFMC Compound

"Metroid Prime 2: Echoes" is the sequel to "Metroid Prime." In this game, players take control of Samus Aran as she faces off against the Space Pirates. Unlike many previous games in the "Metroid" series, "Metroid Prime 2: Echoes" uses the first-person point of view. The GFMC Compound, found early in the game, is a room where many supplies are found to keep the Samus full of ammunition.

      Start the game and go to the Sacred Bridge.

      Turn on the Dark Visor. Five targets appear on the screen.

      Use your seeker missiles to shoot all of the targets.

    • 4

      Walk into one of the targets. The room that you will enter is the GFMC Compound, the place where the GFS Tyr crash-landed. Defeat any War Wasps or Pirate Troopers that attack you. Search the supply crates in the room to acquire the Missile Launcher.
