How to Kill the River Monster in the Forest Temple of Twilight Princess

Diababa is the third parasite in the Forest Temple in "The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess." He doesn't rise from a river, but a purple fog. A sword and the Gale Boomerang are the only items the hero Link needs to beat Diababa, When Link beats Diababa, Link gets an extension of his health gauge as well as the first of three fragments he needs to collect.

Instructions

  Equip the Gale Boomerang to Link's inventory and wait for the first two Baba parasites to appear.

  Hold the boomerang button down and let the cursor around a bombling to turn red, then target a Baba.

  Release the boomerang button to throw the boomerang and plant the Bombling in the Baba's mouth, where it will explode. Repeat the process on the other Baba.

  Run around the room to dodge Diababa's attacks. Continue dodging until the baboon "Ook" swings around the chamber with the Bombling in hand.

  Target the Bombling using the Gale Boomerang, then target Diababa's head.
- 6
  Release the boomerang to explode the Bombling in Diababa's mouth. Use Link's sword to repeatedly attack the orange eye that falls out of Diababa's mouth until Diababa is defeated. Diababa's eye will roll from its mouth and turn into a full heart container.
- 7
  Pick up the heart container to extend Link's health gauge by one heart. Talk to Midna to leave the temple.
