How to Get Yoshi Out of the Bubble on Wii

"Super Mario Galaxy 2," released for the Nintendo Wii in 2010, reintroduces Mario's companion Yoshi into the "Mario" franchise. This sequel combines the gaming mechanics of the original "Super Mario Galaxy" with Yoshi's classic moves, such as the tongue whip and flutter jump, to add a new dimension to the series. Mario encounters Yoshi in the second area of World 1, the Yoshi Star Galaxy. Yoshi is trapped in a bubble guarded by a Magikoopa called Kamek.

Instructions

  Fly to the Yoshi Star Galaxy from the stage selection screen. The Yoshi Star Galaxy is accessible after completing the first galaxy of World 1, Sky Station Galaxy, and boarding the Starship Mario.

  Click the first star task, labeled "Saddle Up with Yoshi." Mario will land at the base of a path that leads to Yoshi.

  Follow the path up to the Yoshi egg concealed in a bubble. The Magikoopa will stand in your way.

  Avoid the Magikoopa's attacks and shoot him with a star bit. This will stun him and allow you to attack.

  Perform Mario's spin attack when standing near the stunned Magikoopa to knock him out. The bubble around the egg will disappear.

  Do Mario's spin attack near the egg to crack it open. Yoshi will pop out and you will be able to mount him by once again performing the spin attack.
