Press the power button on your Wii. Press the "A" button on the controller to launch the Wii Menu.
Click the "Wii Options" button in the bottom left corner of the screen if the Wii is not already connected to the Internet. Connect your modem or router to the Wii using the Wii LAN adapter if you are using a wired connection.
Click "Connection 1" to create a new Internet connection. Click "OK" on the next screen; the Wii will find your connection, wired or wireless. The Wii will allow you to select which connection point you want to use if you have more than one.
Click "Yes" on the next screen if you want to update your Wii software or "No" if you do not. Wait for the Wii to route you back to the Wii Menu.
Click the "Wii Shop Channel" and click "Start" to connect. Click "Start Shopping" and then "Wii Channels" on the top right side of the screen. Press the down arrow on your Wii remote until you see the Netflix channel. Click it to begin downloading Netflix to your Wii.
Click the Netflix channel on the Wii Menu. Write down the activation code that displays on the first screen.
Navigate to the Netflix website on your computer. Type your user name and password to log in to your account. Navigate to the Netflix activation web page. Type your activation code into the text field next to the "Activate" button. Use capital and lowercase letters to match your code.
Click the "Activate" button on the activation web page. Wait while Netflix connects to and activates your Wii console. Make sure your Instant Queue displays on the television screen, indicating the activation is complete.
