How to Let Your Character From Wild World Visit City Folk

In "Animal Crossing: Wild World" for the Nintendo DS, you can make a copy of your character and transfer him to "Animal Crossing: City Folk" for the Nintendo Wii. When you import a character to "City Folk," you will transfer his face, name and catalog. The character will not retain his bells, the items in his pockets or any items he is storing when you move him from "Wild World" to "City Folk."

Instructions

  Insert the "Animal Crossing: City Folk" disc into your Nintendo Wii. Power on your Nintendo Wii and begin the game. Press the "A" button at the title screen. Select "Move from DS!" instead of "Start fresh!"

  Place the "Animal Crossing: Wild World" Game Card into your Nintendo DS, and turn on the system. Select "Done!" on "Animal Crossing: City Folk."

  Choose "DS Download Play" on your Nintendo DS. Tap the Moving Van panel with your stylus. Wait for the Nintendo DS to download the Moving Van. The following message will appear on "City Folk": "Communicating... Please wait a moment."

  Turn off the Nintendo DS. Choose which "Wild World" character will visit "City Folk." You will start "City Folk" playing as that character. To transfer another "Wild World" character to "City Folk," you must repeat the importation process.
