How to Be a Millionaire in Animal Crossing City: Folk

In the world of "Animal Crossing," the more money you have, the higher your stature. With millions of bells in your pockets, you can buy the nicest houses, donate money to the city for bridges and fountains and buy all the random junk you want for decorating your house. You could make your money the old-fashioned way -- hard work and patience -- or you can use a simple cheat to make yourself rich overnight. There is certainly something to be said for instant millions, though you should probably enjoy the game for a while before removing its financial constraints.

     Deposit at least 10,000 bells into your bank account. Save and turn off the Wii console.

     Turn on your Wii console and click "Wii Options." Select "Wii Settings" and then "Calendar."

     Set your calendar to June 2, 2000. Hit "Confirm" to save.

     Load "Animal Crossing: City Folk" and select your save file.

   • 5

     Quit the game and save your file. Turn off the Nintendo Wii again, then boot it back to the home menu.

     Go back to the calendar settings and change the date to June 2, 2035.

   • 7

     Load your "Animal Crossing" save again. You will earn 35 years of interest on your money.
