How to Troubleshoot NFL Training Camp for a Wii

"NFL Training Camp" for the Nintendo Wii home console entertainment system is an Electronic Arts exercise and fitness game. The game utilizes included sensors in addition to the Wii remote in order to gauge your body positioning and heart rate during exercises. A number of problems related to device connections and sensor positioning can result in game glitches, but fortunately you can troubleshoot and fix all these.

Instructions

    • 1

Check to make sure the included USB dongle is connected to the rear of your Wii if the game is not responding at all to your movements.

    • 2

Check the batteries in each of the game's included sensors and your Wii remote if the game remains entirely unresponsive. You may need to simply replace the "AA" batteries in these devices.

    • 3

Ensure you do not have your sensor locations mixed up if game responsiveness is still lacking. The arm sensor must rest on your left arm and the leg sensor must be on your right leg.

    • 4

Ensure the arm band is positioned correctly. The arm band must be in front of your elbow. Also, ensure the heart rate sensor is on your inner arm and not your outer arm.

    • 5

Keep your legs straight out while attempting to perform the "Reverse Crunches" challenge in the game. If your legs are bent, the leg sensor may not recognize their positioning.

    • 6

Keep your body completely still once you lift your hips off the floor while performing the Straight and Bent Arm Side Planks exercise challenge. Failure to do so may result in a game glitch that results in your body's movement not being tracked.
