How to Kill the Scorpions on The Legend of Spyro for Wii With the Tail Strike

In "The Legend of Spyro: The Eternal Night," you control Spyro, a small, fire-breathing dragon out to save his land from evil. One particularly challenging foe is the Blundertail, a giant scorpion-like creature that wields dangerous claws and a cannon on the end of its tail. What makes the encounter difficult for players is that Blundertails are often encountered in groups of two or more, making it hard to do battle with one without being overwhelmed by the other.

Instructions

  Choose one Scorpion that is by itself and move in on it with the Wii nunchuk.

  Perform the Melee Knockup attack by shaking your Wiimote from left to right several times.

  Quickly move to the other creature while the first is stunned and repeat the hit-and-run maneuver.
- 4
  Repeat this until one is damaged to the point where it will open its claws and lie flat on the ground. When this occurs, run up to it and perform the Tail Strike attack to finish it by pressing the "A" button twice, then pitching the Wiimote sharply forward.
