How to Get on the Flying Carpets on Disney Epic Mickey

The flying carpets in "Disney Epic Mickey" appear in the Gremlin Village section of the game. The carpets are patterned after the Magic Carpets of Aladdin ride in Disney's Magic Kingdom, and you can use them to reach the exit of Gremlin Village. Timing is the key to getting onto one of the carpets; you must initiate your jump when the carpet is at its closest point to you. If you miss the jump, you'll tumble back to the ground.

Instructions

  Visit Gremlin Bennet in Gremlin Village. Talk with him for a moment; he will then send you on your way to the Magic Carpets.

  Approach the carpets, which swing back and forth between two platforms.

  Spray the gears behind the carpets with thinner to freeze them in place, and then hop onto the first carpet. Walk to the end of the carpet and jump onto the second one.

  Walk to the end of the second carpet and jump to the stationary platform. Exit the area through the Steamboat Willie screen directly in front of you.
