How to Get a Wii Ticket

Nintendo Wii tickets are 16-digit numerical codes that grant Wii gamers access to specified Wii Shop application and component items. Wii Shop items are classified as Wii Speak accessories, which are add-ons for certain Wii games. Wii Speak accessories come with Wii tickets prepackaged on paper inserts. The 16-digit code on the paper insert must be downloaded and activated to get the Wii ticket on the console. The ticket's numerical codes are exclusively associated with the Wii gaming console they are initially downloaded to. With little navigation through the Wii Settings, gamers can easily get Wii tickets on their systems.

  Purchase the Wii Speak accessory of your choice. Wii Speak accessories can be purchased at video game outlets or major electronic stores such as Game Stop and Best Buy.

  Establish a wireless network connection to the Internet with your Nintendo Wii gaming console. (See Resources.)

  Navigate to "Wii Shop Channel" in the Wii main menu.

  Select the "Settings and Features" tab on the Wii Shop Channel main menu.

  Go to "Download Wii Ticket" in the Settings and Features menu. The screen will redirect to the "Input Wii Download Ticket" screen.

  Find the Wii download ticket number. The download ticket should be displayed as a 16-digit code on a small insert card prepackaged with the Wii Speak accessory you purchased.

  Enter the 16-digit numerical Wii ticket code into the available entry field on the input screen.

  Hit the "OK" option to start the Wii ticket downloading process.
