Instructions
Play "Animal Crossing: City Folk" every day and speak to the animal. If you don't speak to an animal for weeks, he may feel unwelcome in your town. A few animals may move away if you don't play "Animal Crossing: City Folk" for a few weeks.
Avoid going to any town other than your own. If you visit a new town, a town member will leave to go to that town. Fewer villagers will move away if you don't go to different towns.
Buy stationery from Tom Nook's store. Write letters to the animal you want to keep in your town. Attach clothing, furniture or other items to the letter. Go to the Post Office and mail the letter to the animal. Most of the time, the animal will send you a letter and a gift in return.
Make the villager's stay in your town enjoyable. Don't shove the neighbor into a pit hole and don't hit her with any tools. If you continue to irritate the villager, she will move out of your town once she is tired of the abuse.
Agree to do favors for the neighbor. For example, sometimes an animal will ask you to deliver a letter or item. Completing these requests will please the neighbor and prevent him from moving away. Don't refuse the request of an animal more than once a week.
