How to Get Kong Letters in Muncher Marathon for Donkey Kong

Donkey Kong and his nephew, Diddy, must traverse a series of worlds to recover their banana hoard in "Donkey Kong Country Returns" for the Nintendo Wii. If you can collect all of the "KONG" letters in each level you can access bonus areas of the game. One of the most challenging levels in which to do this is World 5-8, which is called "Muncher Marathon." You must grab the letters quickly as you advance through the stage or you will be overwhelmed by a mass of muncher bugs that chase after you.

Instructions

- 1
  Shake the Wii remote to roll into the broken logs to destroy them quickly. This will give you a slight head start on the swarm of munchers and allow you more time to grab the letters.

  Grab the "K" by jumping off a platform above one of the columns that smashes down to try and crush you.

  Reach the "O" by using the ground pound. Shake the Wii remote while standing underneath the letter. This will make a red mushroom trampoline appear. Jump off the mushroom to snatch the "O."

  Jump off a frog near the "N" to grab it quickly instead of traversing the platforms.
- 5
  Press "Left" on the control pad after jumping out of the third Blast Barrel. This will allow you to reach the "G" and complete "KONG" as you finish the final ascent away from the horde of munchers.
