How to Make a NAND Key for the Wii

Many users softmod their Wii to open the device up to third-party software and extra functions. The process involves setting up a "Homebrew Channel" on the Wii to launch programs. Updating the Wii once it has the Homebrew Channel installed can sometimes cause the Wii to malfunction, so it is recommended that you back up the NAND memory to the SD card so that it can be restored later if a problem arises. You will need to have the Homebrew Channel installed before backing up your NAND memory.
