Game Hints and Tips
Jump away when you are being attacked. Block small incoming attacks. When an attack is blocked, use the attack button or perform a spin-kick to surprise your enemy. Perform a punch, then kick, then punch or kick attack to create a combination. This combination helps you take down your opponent's energy quicker, as combinations cause more damage than singular attacks. During boss fights, such as Vilgax or Doctor Animo, you will be asked to press a sequence of buttons in a certain location on the screen. Move to the area and press the sequence to harm the boss. Also, when battling Vilgax, use the Tornado attack, as he is vulnerable to it during this time.
Opening the Code Menu
To enter the codes on the Nintendo Wii, PS2 and PSP, press "Start" while on the map and select "Enter Sercet Code." On the Nintendo DS, no code menu exists. Instead, you type the codes in the main menu.
Unlocking Attacks and Invincibility
To make it easier to defeat opponents, unlock all of the combos. Type "Cannonbolt," "Heatblast," "Fourarms" and "Heatblast." To unlock the Dark Effects cheats to help you in hard battles, type "Cannonbolt," "Cannonbolt," "Fourarms" and "Heatblast." Unlock the DNA Force using "Wildvine," "Fourarms," "Heatblast" and "Cannonbolt." Become invincible with "XLR8," "Heatblast," "Wildvine" and "Fourarms." Unlock the Master Control with "Cannonbolt," "Heatblast," "Wildvine" and "Fourarms." The codes listed above work for all versions except Nintendo DS, which doesn't have any similar codes.
Unlockable Characters, Alien Forms and Skins
For all versions except the Nintendo DS, insert "Wildvine," "Fourarms," "Heatblast" and "Wildvine" to unlock all alien forms. The following codes are for the Nintendo DS version. Press "A," "Left," "Y," "Right," "X," "Up," "B," "Down" and "Select" to unlock Upchuck. Gain the Galactic Enforcer skin with "A," "B," "X," "Y," "L," "R" and "Select." The Gwen 10 skin is unlocked with "Left," "Right," "Left," "Right," "L," "R" and "Select." Receive the Ultra Ben skin by pressing "Up," "Right," "Down," "Left," "A," "B" and "Select."
Nintendo DS Only Bonus Mission
Press "Left," "L," "Right," "R," "Up," "Down" and "Select" to unlock a bonus mission.
