How to Get Into the Yeti's Den on Nintendo We Ski

Ski down from Elephant Stage towards Deep Step and Owl. Start from the top of Elephant Stage, keeping as far to the left as possible. Ski past the buildings while keeping an eye out on the right for a dead tree. The tree has a distinctly Halloween style to it and it is located close to a yellow "Yeti Crossing" sign.

Enter the course by going through the gap in the fence behind the dead Halloween tree. Go through to be taken to the entrance of the course. Many people find the Bigfoot course the most difficult one on the game.

Use your brakes to avoid the walls at the beginning of the run. After the course opens up, line yourself up for the frozen river. Notice that patches of snow litter the frozen river. The snow provides much better grip than the frozen river surface. Use these patches to get a better control over your character. Keep braking to avoid the walls and gain a good balance score.

Aim for a straight ride down the second, steeper part of the river. Don't use the brakes during this section; just gently turn if absolutely necessary. Crouch down to increase your speed. You may be able to do this throughout this section if you are lined up correctly.

Avoid the trees in the basin. Swerving in and out of the trees while traveling quickly is exceptionally difficult. Go around the edge of the basin to the left to avoid all of the trees and continue at a reasonable speed. Line yourself up for entry into the cave.

Enter the cave and prepare for a choice. Turn left when the track splits into two if you wish to take the easier route. This will take you through a dinosaur fossil. If you want to go into the yeti's living room, turn right at the fork in the cave. Avoid the stalagmites and stalactites if you take this route.
