While "Spider-Man: Web of Shadows" was released for a variety of platforms, only the Nintendo Wii version included unlockable costumes. These costumes ranged from classic costumes, such as Spider-Man 2099, to newer looks such as the Iron Spider costume from the "Civil War" story arc. Costumes are unlocked over the course of gameplay by completing specific tasks, such as finishing the first act of the game. Once unlocked, these costumes are available to wear from the menu at any time during the game.

Pause the game and select "Options" from the menu.

Select the "Suits" tab.

Select the suit you wish to wear in-game. For example, if you want to appear as Spider-Man 2099, select the Spider-Man 2099 suit.

Exit the menu to resume gameplay. Once in-game, Spider-Man automatically wears the new suit.
