How to Calculate Pool Scores on Wii Play

"Wii Play" takes advantage of the Nintendo Wii's motion control platform with a series of sports and recreational games. It features nine different games, including billiards. While the Wii billiards game is similar to a "9-ball" game of pool, the scoring is very different than traditional "9-ball."

Instructions

    • 1

Add points for each ball pocketed. You earn the number of points shown on each ball. For example, the ball with a "2" earns two points, while the "4" ball earns four points. Start sinking the lower numbered balls and work your way up.

    • 2

Subtract three points for each foul shot committed. The fewer number of fouls, the higher your score will be. Avoid making costly fouls.

    • 3

Total the points earned from the pocketed balls and subtract those lost from fouls to get your final score. The game ends when all of the "9" balls are pocketed. The player with the highest score wins.
