"MX vs. ATV Untamed" is a fast-paced, off-road racing game that features a variety of vehicles from both the motocross and all-terrain vehicle worlds, including monster trucks, motorbikes and buggies. To break the monotony of simple races, players can perform many tricks, such as the backflip, by entering a series of controller commands on the Wii Remote. The backflip is one of the game's easier tricks, but it requires exact timing to get the landing right on smaller ramps.

     Hold the "1" button as you approach a ramp at full speed.

     Press the "B" button at the edge of ramp and hold "Down" on the D-pad until the flip is almost complete.

     Press the "2" button to slow down the flip and hold "Up" on the D-pad to position the vehicle for a proper landing.
