How to Defeat Small Pete on Epic Mickey

Pete, Mickey's long-time rival throughout Disney history, shows up in many forms throughout the Wii-exclusive game "Epic Mickey." Small Pete offers the player quest to clear his name and allow him to reenter Gremlin Village or leave him in exile in the Colosseum. The player's action not only dictates Pete's appearance at the end of the game, but also whether or not Pete, in his many appearances, becomes a friend or a foe. Refusing help Pete clear his name causes him to send a wave of enemies after Mickey.

Instructions

- 1
  Prepare for the fight by stocking up as much paint and thinner as possible. It may also be helpful to have a couple of guardians to call upon.

  Force Pete into a fight by refusing to use the log to clear his name in Gremlin City. Pete then sends five waves of increasing enemies to attack Mickey.

  Climb up the stone steps to get out of the reach of the enemies. During the first round, there is no danger so take time and use paint and thinner to either turn the enemies, erase them or drop them into thinner. Be cautious to preserve as much paint and thinner as possible for the later rounds.

  Continue this strategy in the second round but watch out as from here on some sweepers may be able to reach Mickey at this location. Get rid of the sweepers first with paint and thinner and then take time with the other enemies as Mickey remains out of their reach.

  Turn enemies when necessary. Any allies only remain for one round, so save this for when the rounds become overwhelming.

  Summon guardians in the later rounds. Since the enemies get progressively stronger and more numerous, it's best to save guardians until the end.
- 7
  Continue to paint and thin enemies while remaining out of their reach for five waves of enemies. Once the last round is defeated, Pete gives up and opens the door of the Colosseum for Mickey to leave.
