How to Catch Goldenfish in Monster Hunter Tri

"Monster Hunter Tri," also known as "Monster Hunter 3," is a Wii-exclusive entry in Capcom's Monster Hunter action RPG series. It has an offline single player campaign and an online mission-based mode where up to three other Hunters can take on a bounty. Your hunter is tasked with fishing for three goldenfish in one of the earliest missions in the game. These creatures are rare and sell for a high price because they are actually made from gold.

Instructions

  Go to the bridge near Moba Woods. Speak to the two kids on the steps leading to the bridge. One will give you Snakebee Larva and the other will give you Fireflies. Press "Select" to bring up the Hunter menu, then select "Combine" to combine the Snakebee Larva and Firefly to create Goldenfish Bait.

  Use the map to find your way to Area 10 by moving through the woods in Area 9. The first place you can fish for Goldenfish is the shoreline of Area 10.

  Add a piece of the Goldenfish bait to the line and fish from the eastern banks in Area 10. Goldenfish stand out due to their shimmering gold color. Only Goldenfish will bite the Goldenfish Bait.
