How to Defeat Fangora on Kirby's Epic Yarn

In the video game "Kirby's Epic Yarn," the first boss is Fangora, a cranky green dragon intent on keeping Kirby from entering the next world. Fangora attacks slowly, but his large size does not always give you much room to maneuver. To defeat Fangora, you need to lasso the big red button at the end of his tongue. The button only comes out of his mouth if you dodge as soon as he sticks his tongue out at you.

Instructions

- 1
  Stay to the far left side of the screen as the battle begins. Fangora shoots his tongue out at you several times. Jump up to avoid it each time.

  Press the 1 button to grab a fireball when Fangora starts shooting them at you. Press 1 again to throw the fireball back at him.

  Collect all of the beads that Fangora drops. Fangora's weak spot, a red button, will appear. If you want to collect enough beads to get the special Mole Patch, used to open a secret level, ignore the button for now.

  Repeat the previous process and hit Fangora with another fireball, and collect the beads. When Fangora's red button appears this time, run up to it and press 1 to lasso it. Kirby throws Fangora against the wall, hurting him.

  Run around the arena when Fangora flies high into the sky. When you see the ground start to move, quickly run away from that spot. Fangora flies down and crashes into the ground, then returns to his original position.

  Lasso Fangora's button two more times when it falls out of his mouth. When you lasso the button for the third time, Fangora dies.
