      Make sure your wireless router is turned on and functioning properly.

      Press the "Power" button on your Wii to turn on the console. Press the "A" button on the Wii remote to display the main menu.

      Scroll down the menu and select the "Wii" button. Select "Wii Settings" to access the "Wii System Settings" menu.

      Select the arrow on the right side of the screen and select "Internet" under "Wii System Settings 2."

      Select "Connection 1 None," click on "Wireless Connection," and then click "Search for an Access Point." Click "OK" to display the wireless networks within range.

      Select your wireless network from the list. If prompted, enter your security key or password, and then click "OK."

      Select "OK," then "Save Settings," and click "Yes." Your Wii will run a connection test. You should see a confirmation dialogue message when the process is complete.
