Instructions
Set Up the Recording Devices
Connect the video capture device and the Wii console to the television using RCA cables. Attach each of the 1x-male-to-2x-male RCA splitters into the female RCA connectors on the video capture device in the correct color order.
Attach the double-sided female RCA adapters to one of each male RCA connector on the splitter. Connect the male RCA cables from the Wii to the connectors fitted with the female adapters.
Connect the RCA connectors from the television to the remaining connectors on the RCA splitters in the correct color order. Plug the video capture device into the USB port of the computer.
Record and Edit the Replay
Turn on the Wii gaming console. Insert the "Super Smash Brothers Brawl" game into the Wii's loading slot, if you haven't done so already. Navigate to the game's replay gallery and select the desired replay data file, but do not start the replay.
Open the video editing software on the computer. Locate and select the "Capture" option for video capture devices and select the device as a source.
Click "Start" or "Capture" on the video editing software to begin the video capture process. Press "Start" on the Wii's controller to begin the replay. Wait for the replay to finish before saving the captured footage to the computer's hard drive.
Edit the captured footage as needed using the video editing software tools. Convert the footage to the "MP4" or "FLV" format for easier viewing and uploading. The conversion process varies among editing software, so consult your software's user guide for more detailed information. When finished, save the finished footage to your computer's hard drive.
Upload the Captured Replay
Open your Web browser and navigate to the video uploading website of your choice. If necessary, log in with your account user name and password.
Locate and click the "Browse" button to upload the captured footage. When the "Open" dialog box appears, navigate to the location of the footage and select it. Click "OK," and then click "Upload" to load the footage onto the website.
Wait for the upload process to finish. At the end of the upload process, a prompt will redirect you to the replay footage or provide a Web link to the location of the footage. You can use the link to direct others to where they can watch and share the replay footage.
