How to Do a Melee Knockup Attack on Wii Spyro

"The Legend of Spyro: The Eternal Night" was released for the Nintendo Wii in 2007. Spyro has a wide array of attacks to use against his enemies. Spyro can breathe fire, charge into an enemy or knock them up into the air with a melee attack. Called the melee knockup, this attack is ideal for dealing with enemies who are carrying a shield. The melee knockup sends them into the air, allowing Spyro to bypass the enemies' shield and attack them directly.

     Approach the enemy you are going to perform the melee knockup attack on. You must be close to the enemy for the attack to connect.

     Hold the Wii Remote level to the ground, with the end of the remote pointing at the screen.

     Move the Wii Remote side to side four times in succession. Each time you move the Wiimote sideways, Spyro performs an attack. The fourth time is the melee knockup, and Spyro knocks the enemy up into the air.
