How to Pull a Sword Out When Up Close in Red Steel

"Red Steel" is a video game released for the Nintendo Wii in 2006, and which takes full advantage of the controller's motion sensing capabilities. The main character, Scott Monroe, is armed with both a gun and a sword. The gun is ideal for enemies in the distance, but when an enemy is at close range you must use your sword. To activate the sword, you must hold your Wii Remote in a certain way which prompts Scott to put away his gun and ready his sword.

     Hold the Wii Remote horizontally to pull out Scott's sword.

     Swing the Wii Remote in the direction you want to swing your sword.

   • 3

     Move the nunchuk left or right to block in that direction.

   • 4

     Press the analog stick right or left to have Scott roll in that direction.

   • 5

     Swing the nunchuk in any direction to have Scott attack with a tanto, which is a small knife. This is ideal for surprise attacks on an enemy.
