How to Get Max Combos on Super

In "Super Smash Brothers Brawl" for the Nintendo Wii, players unlock trophies for accomplishing certain tasks in the many game modes. One trophy --- the Ouendan trophy --- is given for hitting at least one max combo with every character in the game and having at least 400 total max combos in the "Training" mode. The best way to do this is to grapple. By grappling, the opponent is helpless for a short period of time, allowing you to max out a combo.

     Open "Training Mode" in the the main menu.

     Select the character that you want. In order to get the Ouendan trophy, you need to perform at least one max combo with every character and at least 400 total max combos.

   • 3

     Grab your opponent by pressing the "Z" button. Press the "A" button repeatedly until the opponent bounces off of you. The combo will indicate it has reached its maximum.
