How to Move Snorlax in Front of Diglett Cave in Pokemon SoulSilver

As you travel through Route 11 in "Pokemon SoulSilver" you will encounter a wild Snorlax -- a giant-sized Pokemon that loves to sleep. This particular Snorlax, however, has decided to take a nap in the middle of the road, blocking access to the rest of Route 11 and a special location called the Diglett Cave. When you initially encounter the Snorlax you have no choice but to take a detour, but as the game progresses you are given the option to take on a side-mission and find an item that will wake Snorlax from its slumber.

Instructions

  Travel to Lavender Town and walk to the Radio Tower. Talk to the people at the tower to discover that the power has been cut off. Walk to the Power Plant in Lavender Town. Talk to the people at the Power Plant to find out about a missing generator part and the identity of the thief.

  Travel to Cerulean City and walk to the Cerulean City Gym. Enter the building to trigger an encounter with a Team Rocket Grunt. He will escape shortly after your encounter.

  Follow the Rocket Grunt to Route 24. Encounter him again and you will enter into a Pokemon battle. Use your strongest Pokemon and best attacks to defeat the Rocket Grunt. After the battle he will tell you the location of the missing part.

  Walk back to Cerulean Gym and locate the missing part on one of the life preservers. Travel back to the Power Plant in Lavender Town to return the missing part. The power will be restored. Walk back to the Radio Tower to receive the Radio Expansion for helping out.

  Travel to Route 11 and stand next to the sleeping Snorlax. Open your inventory and activate your radio. Switch the channel to the PokeFlute channel. Snolax will wake up and you will have a random Pokemon encounter. Battle Snorlax using your strongest Pokemon and best attacks and use a Pokeball to capture it once it has become fatigued. After the battle you will gain access to the Diglett Cave and the rest of Route 11.
