How to Get the Third Spirit's Tears on the Bird on Zelda Twilight Princess

"The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess" pits the series's protagonist, Link, against many of his normal foes, but includes another "Twilight" dimension in which he faces monsters of another nature. His land, Hyrule, is normally protected by Light Spirits from the Twilight realm, but he must first aid them by collecting their tears to rekindle this protection. Over the course of searching for the Tears of Light, Link encounters flying enemies that he must pursue while riding a bird.

  Travel to the western edge of Lake Hylia to get to the area on which you can mount a bird. You will come to this area naturally while gathering tears for the Light Spirit, Lanayru.

  Transform into Link's wolf form if you have not done so already, then howl near the fan-shaped plant to summon the bird and jump onto it automatically.

  Activate your senses as the bird flies into a cavern. With Link's wolf senses, you can see where the bugs are located.
- 4
  Press the 'Dash' button when you catch up to an insect to cause lycanthropic Link to jump onto it and attack it, gathering tears. There are four bugs in the cave to attack before moving on in the game.
