How to Get the Crowd to Cheer for Your Character in SSBB

In "Super Smash Bros. Brawl" ("SSBB"), heated battles between Nintendo characters draw crowds of fans from around the world. The crowd is used as a way to let you know how you are performing. You can tell that you are fighting well when you hear the crowd start to cheer your name. The crowd tends to cheer for you whenever you are injured, but still dishing out lots of damage and knocking other fighters off the screen.

Instructions

    • 1

Allow your character to get hit with attacks until he or she reaches at least 100 percent damage. After this point, try to avoid any further damage.

    • 2

Attack your opponent repeatedly with combos and special attacks. To do a special attack, hold the control stick up, down, left or right, and then tap the "Special" button. While attacking, do not let the opponent strike you.

    • 3

Use a Smash Attack to knock the opponent out. To perform one, press the "Attack" button and, at the same time, quickly press the control stick up, left, right or down. If the opponent's damage level is high enough, he flies off the screen and is knocked out.

    • 4

Continue damaging opponents without taking any damage yourself. Knock out several opponents in a row. After a few combos and knock-outs, the crowd is likely to start cheering for you.
