"The Sims 2: Castaway" not only offers players the chance to create virtual characters and control their everyday lives, but the opportunity to play out survival scenarios as their Sim has to find shelter, food and tools. Since you must take care of all of your Sim's needs, much of the game is spent watching your Sim sleep, eat a meal or work on a project. Fortunately, the game comes with built-in time controls that allow you to speed up time and hurry through these boring tasks.

Load your game and enter Live Mode.

Press and hold the "C" button on your Wii Nunchuk Controller to speed up time.

Release the "C" button to return to the normal flow of time.
