How to Get the Freshwater Dolphin in Endless Ocean Blue World

Amazon River dolphins, often referred to as "freshwater" dolphins, are rare creatures found in the Wii sequel to "Endless Ocean," "Endless Ocean: Blue World." You can befriend one of these dolphins and recruit it to clear a pile of brush blocking the Midstream River, thus opening up new areas to explore and plunder. If you want the help of the Amazon River Dolphin, you will need to complete a few in-game objectives.

Instructions

    • 1

Visit Jean-Eric on Nineball Island. He will teach you to train dolphins. Have your dolphin perform simple tricks -- once you've performed enough, Hayako will appear and challenge you to a test.

    • 2

Complete Hayako's exam to unlock dolphin shows. Once the test is complete, you can access dolphin shows by speaking with Hayako.

    • 3

Complete three dolphin shows and Finley will talk to you about a new dolphin he discovered, the Bottlenose dolphin. Find this dolphin and calm a shark near it to earn its trust. Speak with Finley again and he will send you after the Narwhal. Sing to the Narwhal to make it friendly.

    • 4

Speak with Finley once you have befriended the two dolphins. At this point, Finley will refuse to give you more information until you complete 20 dolphin shows. Complete these shows and he will tell you about the Amazon River dolphin.

    • 5

Find the river dolphin that is pink in color, and then swim next to it with your narwhal. After a few minutes of swimming, the dolphin will befriend you and join your team.
