Tips for Black Ops for the Wii

"Call of Duty: Black Ops" is a shooting game that came out for the Nintendo Wii in late 2010. "Black Ops" puts you in the position of a military agent traveling the world during the Cold War. You can use cheat codes and go over shooting techniques and weapon profiles to improve your performance in the game.
  1. Documents

    • Go to the CIA computer and use specific login information to view secret documents that will help you on your mission. Enter "asmith" for user name and "roxy" for password to get Adrienne Smith's documents. Type "bharris" under user name and "goskins" under password to unlock the documents for Bruce Harris. Input "jfkennedy" in the user name field and "lancer" in the password field to get John F. Kennedy's documents. Type "jhudson" for user name and "bryant1950" for Jason Hudson's documents.

    Weapon Profiles

    • The Skorpion gun does between 20 and 50 units of damage depending on attachments. It has a mag size of 20 and an average firing speed. The MAC 11 is an automatic gun with a fast firing time. It does 20 to 30 units of damage per shot and has a mag size of 20. The Uzi matches the MAC 11 firing speed and damage capabilities. It has a mag size of 32. The FAL is a semi-automatic weapon that does between 40 and 50 units of damage. It fires much slower than the full automatic weapons and has a mag size of 20.

    Accurate Shooting

    • You can shoot in "Black Ops" using the interactive Wii remote in two ways. You can use the remote's motion-sensitive capability and point at your targets to shoot or turn the controller sideways and mimic standard gaming controllers. Using standard controls often helps when you have time to line up a shot, though using the Wii remote intuitively allows for quick shots. Regardless of the shooting method, make sure to memorize level layouts so you have places to take cover and make accurate shots.

    Multi-player Strategy

    • Stay away from the players on your team so that you and your teammates are less likely to be ambushed and killed at once. In general, try to stay behind cover to avoid being seen and maximize your odds of sneaking up on opponents. Much like setting up good shots, avoiding getting taken out by enemies is also dependent on your understanding of the level you are playing. Study the layout and find good places to stay out of sight.
