How to Make a Chisel in The Sims 2: Castaways

In "The Sims 2: Castaways" players create and control a character called a Sim as they try to survive after being lost on a tropical island. To survive the experience, your Sim must build simple tools for his survival, such as a chisel. While playing through the storyline your Sim will be given a basic stone chisel, however later on he will have the option of upgrading to a metal chisel by building one from materials found around the island.

Instructions

- 1
  Collect Metal Ore at the top of the Volcano Summit. Your Sim needs 15 Metal Ore pieces to create a Metal Chisel.

  Chop down trees using the Stone Axe to collect Hard Wood. Your Sim requires 5 Hard Wood pieces to build the Metal Chisel.

  Increase your Mechanical skills to level 8 to unlock the ability to craft a Metal Chisel. Your Mechanical skill increases each time you build a fire or craft an item at a workbench.

  Bring the necessary materials to a crafting bench to craft a Metal Chisel.
