How to Find the Gnome on The Sims 2: Castaways

While your Sim attempts to survive on a remote island in "The Sims 2: Castaways" he cannot help but long for the comforts of home. While some home items like furniture and tools can be handcrafted from the materials found on the island, some items like lawn gnomes cannot be replicated. The lawn gnome is a long-running item in "The Sims" series of games and the item makes an appearance as flotsam washed ashore on the beach.

     Walk to the West Beach area of the Second Island. The Second Island can only be reached after your Sim has crafted a raft.

     Explore the West Beach Area and look for crates that have washed ashore.

   • 3

     Open the crates to search for items such as the gnome statue.

   • 4

     Exit the area and return another time if no crates are available or if you do not find a gnome.
