How to Earn Advanced Levels
When you begin doing exercises with a new game, you are limited to the beginner levels of each activity. In order to reach the intermediate and finally the advanced levels on the Wii Fit, you must show some mastery of the beginner levels. This usually means reaching the highest star level on the original level, which is obtained by getting a high score in the activity, which is often determined by time in most "Balance" games and accuracy in "Aerobics" games.
Why Worry About Advanced Levels
Though Wii Fit is designed to provide you with more movement than a standard video game, according to the Journal of Strength and Conditioning Research, the beginner levels on the Wii Fit do not provide much of a workout. When you reach the intermediate or advanced levels of "Aerobics" games, like "Advanced Step" and "Advanced Hula, however, the games do increase users' respiration.
Why Can't I See the Advanced Levels?
If all of the users who have been added to the Wii Fit game have made it to the advanced levels on the games, you should have no issue with the advanced levels disappearing. However, if only one or two users have unlocked the advanced levels on Wii Fit, other users may find that they can't see the advanced levels and the users who earned them may appear to lose them. This glitch is generally caused by the selection of a user's Mii who has not yet earned the advanced levels before the selection of a player who has the earned the advanced levels.
How Can Someone Play an Advanced Level Without Earning It?
The Wii Fit glitch works in the opposite way too. If Player 1 has earned the advanced levels and Player 2 hasn't, turn the game on and select Player 1 first and then, without turning off the game, go back to "Wii Fit Plaza" and select Player 2. Often, this allows Player 2 to see the advanced levels that Player 1 unlocked.
