How to Kill the Mechanical Apples in Epic Mickey

Beetleworx are mechanical creatures that make up the bulk of the enemies you must fight in "Epic Mickey." They come in four forms: Tankers, Spinners, Hoppers and Bashers. The Tankers are the strongest of the Beetleworx and they take on different appearances depending on which level you are playing. In Lonesome Manor, they have poison apples for bodies, which is an homage to the evil witch in "Snow White." No matter what a Tanker Beetleworx looks like, the process for killing them is always the same.

Instructions

- 1
  Keep your distance when trying to take down a Tanker Beetleworx. If you get too close, they will punch you. They also shoot paint and paint thinner from their guns, so jump to avoid those attacks.

  Run in a wide circle around the Tanker Beetleworx. Shoot paint thinner at the apple body as you run. Keep shooting until the body disappears and reveals the robot underneath the armor.

  Look for the green, blinking button near the top of the robot. Run up to the Tanker Beetleworx, jump and perform the spin attack by shaking the Wiimote. The body armor will come back after you attack, so repeat the process until the Tanker Beetleworx is destroyed.
